2011-2012 Every Member a Minister:
We know that for Austin Heights to do what God calls us to takes each and every one of us serving together. The Apostle Paul says that God give us gifts to equip the saints [the church] for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and the of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ (Eph. 4:12-13).
For us to be able to do what we need to do we need each and every one of us to serve on at least one committee or teach a Bible study. Without every one of us doing our part and utilizing our gifts, the ministry God wants done through us is not accomplished plus we fail to know the fulfillment which comes from using our gifts in God's service.
John says, Let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action (I John 3:18).
Our Committees are reorganized each year (service year is July-June).
